What sets it apart
Luxury is depth of detail, not decoration.
- Bespoke joinery
Wardrobes, kitchens and panelling made to your walls, not a standard module.
- Curated material library
Stone, veneer, metal, textile and hardware chosen to sit together and age well.
- Art and craft sourcing
Regional craft and contemporary art placed with intent, never as theme.
- Founder on every home
A small number of projects at a time so the Principal Architect stays close.
How we work
Fewer homes, more attention on each one.
A luxury home is not a bigger version of a standard fit-out. It is a slower, deeper process where the detailing decides everything. We protect that by keeping the studio small and the calendar honest.
- AOne design language. We hold a single idea across the home so the entrance, the living room and the private wing feel like one house, not a tour of showrooms.
- BMaterials you can touch first. We build a physical palette and show samples before commitment, so you approve the real thing, not a render.
- CIndian intelligence, contemporary form. We like putting Indian craft, stone and light discipline into modern rooms, our Horizon-2 thinking brought into a private home.
How it works
From a considered brief to a finished home.
Brief and intent
We understand the life you want the home to hold, its scale, its restraint and where it should feel special.
Design, 3D and palette
Layouts, 3D walkthroughs and a physical material library so you approve the whole home before spend.
Bespoke detailing
Joinery, stone, metal and lighting detailed drawing by drawing, reviewed by the Principal Architect.
Execute and finish
Site checks and maker coordination through to snagging, so the built home matches the drawings.

Is this a fit?
For homeowners who care how it is made.
A good fit if…
- You want bespoke work and detailing, not a fast catalogue fit-out.
- You value restraint and material quality over spectacle.
- You want the founder personally on your home.
Probably not, if…
- You need the whole home finished on the shortest possible timeline.
- You want the lowest modular rate above all else.
Questions
Before you brief us.
What makes an interior project a luxury project for you? +
Not the price tag. It is the depth of bespoke work: joinery made to your walls, materials chosen from a curated library rather than a showroom shortlist, and detailing carried through to the last handle. Luxury here means considered, not loud.
Do you design bespoke joinery and furniture? +
Yes. Wardrobes, kitchens, wall panelling, vanities and loose furniture are detailed by us and made by trusted makers to our drawings, so pieces fit the room and each other rather than a standard module.
Can you source art, craft and natural materials? +
We source stone, veneer, hardware, lighting, textiles, art and regional craft, and we like putting Indian craft into contemporary rooms without turning them into a theme. We show samples and options before anything is committed.
How many luxury projects do you take at once? +
Few, by design. Aalekh is founder-led and we run a small number of homes at a time so the Principal Architect stays on each one. This is not a volume studio, and the calendar reflects that.
Do you only do penthouses and large homes? +
No. A compact flat can be a luxury project when the intent and the detailing are there. We have worked on homes from studio apartments to penthouses; the care is the constant, not the square footage.
Can NRIs commission a luxury home in Bangalore remotely? +
Yes. We run high-detail projects over video with 3D walkthroughs, couriered material samples and weekly reporting, so you approve every finish from abroad. See our remote interior design page for the process.
